New Service: Ride The Lightning (RTL)!

Today we are excited to announce Ride The Lightning (RTL) as the latest addition to the Start9 Service Marketplace! You can view the source code here.

Ride the Lightning is a full function, device agnostic, web user interface for managing lightning node operations.

Instructions

1. Ensure you are have EmbassyOS ≥ 0.2.5.
2. Ensure you have these services installed and running: (1) Bitcoin Core (2) Bitcoin Proxy and (3) Lightning Network Daemon (LND).
3. Install RTL from the Service Marketplace.
4. Optionally set custom configurations. We recommend using the defaults.
5. Press Start.
6. Visit your unique Ride the Lightning Tor Address from any Tor-enabled browser.

That’s it! You are now running Ride the Lightning!

* Please keep in mind that RTL, Lightning, and EmbassyOS are beta technologies undergoing rapid development. While we are not aware of any issues, we recommend only storing trivial amounts of BTC on your Lightning node.
