New Service: Photoview!

Today we are excited to announce Photoview (by @viktorstrate) as the latest addition to the Start9 Service Marketplace! You can view the source code here.

Overview

Photoview is a great way to view, organize, and (optionally) share all the photos and videos that are stored on your Embassy. Photoview allows you to organize media into albums, filter results, and mark favorites. It even has facial recognition!

It’s like Google Photos…without Google.

Instructions

Photoview uses File Browser to search for media files, so you must have File Browser installed and running for Photoview to work.

1. Install Photoview from the Service Marketplace.
2. Click Start.
3. Visit your Photoview web interface and log in using your default username and password, found in the Properties section.
4. Navigate to the settings menu from the left sidebar and click Scan all users. Your media from File Browser will then appear in Photoview as it is scaned. This sync will need to be performed whenever new media is added.
5. Bookmark this site(s) for future visits, or better yet, save it to your Bitwarden server!
