About

Electrs indexes the entire Bitcoin blockchain, and the resulting index enables fast queries, allowing you to keep real-time track of balances and transaction history using a variety of client wallets. Since electrs is self-hosted on your Embassy, your wallet does not need to communicate with public Electrum servers, thus preserving the privacy of your addresses and balances.

Mempool Address/TX Lookups

It is now possible to view specific addresses and transactions in Mempool. To enable this, simply go into your Mempool config and turn on “Enable Electrs Address Lookups”. EmbassyOS will then automatically require a fully-synced electrs as a dependency of Mempool.
