New Service: c-lightning!

Today we are excited to announce c-lightning as the latest addition to the Start9 Service Marketplace! You can view the source code here.

Instructions

1. Ensure you are have EmbassyOS ≥ 0.2.5.
2. Ensure you have both Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Proxy installed and running.
3. Add a user named c-lightning to your Bitcoin Proxy config.
4. Install c-lightning from the Service Marketplace.
5. Optionally set custom configurations. We recommend using the defaults.
6. Press Start.

That’s it! You are now running your own c-lightning node.

Selecting a Wallet

There are currently two wallets available for your new c-lightning node:

1. Spark Wallet (Embassy, Android, Mac, Linux, Windows)
2. Fully Noded (iOS, Mac).

* Please keep in mind that c-lightning and EmbassyOS are beta technologies undergoing rapid development. While we are not aware of any issues, we recommend only storing trivial amounts of BTC on your Lightning node.
